Andrew

Throughout his hospital stay Andrew has been a joy to work with.  His ability to maintain a positive attitude is admirable.  Andrew is a big fan of Nintendo DS and often played it to shorten his wait time. He has a curious mind and has broadened his depth of knowledge surrounding hospital routines.  Even though he's had many surgeries, he always comes into the surgery center with a smile on his face.  He treats the nurses and staff with courtesy and kindness.  Andrew is our August Hero of the Month!

 

Recently, we partnered with The Kids Wish Network to bring the "Hero of the Month" program to Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.  This program is designed for children who do not have a life threatening illness, but are facing some very sad or extraordinary experiences and need a little "pick me up".
